This next band, Faithless, doesn’t get much mention over here on this side of the pond, which is really too bad because I think they rock!

One of my favorite bands right now out of the UK is Kasabian. This particular song gets me going every time.
I love to walk, or rather, strut to this song and often listen to it on my way from the subway to work. It’s a bit of a long walk, but I find the beat so inspiring that it always puts me in a good mood and I enter the office with a bit of a swagger, ready to face the day.
Enjoy!

When I was teaching fitness full time in the late 80s early 90s, one of my favorite cool down songs was the quintessential Moments in Love by Art of Noise.
Today, it’s still my favorite cool down music. Some things never change.

VIDEO: This week I’m bringing you a fun song by the Young Punx, which is a group that combines Electronica with Disco House and Drums and Base.
What’s interesting is that the original of this song sounds a bit flat. What brings it to life is the masterings of DJ Norman Cook. The video is also a lot of fun with a psychedelic flair
It’s a great motivational song because of its catchy beat, and the lyrics are a bit of a lark, very up-tempo and hip – you’ll find yourself singing along and then laugh at what you’re singing.
What do you think about that?

VIDEO: This week I’m bringing you some Moloko, an Anglo-Irish electronic/pop/Trip Hop duo styled through the DJ musings of Fragma – just in case you’re not feeling loco enough.
This remix has great rhythm and a beat that could cater to steady-state cardio or any kind of weight training or calisthenics.
One caution though, if you’re trying to look macho in the gym, this tune may cause your hips to swing out of control!
Enjoy!
