Taking care of a Hollywood physique as famous as The Rock’s is no small feat. The Rock’s nutrition is geared towards his physique, which includes getting 1 g of protein for every 1 lb of bodyweight. He supplements with a high grade protein shake and includes a multivitamin, ZMA, joint formula and glutamine, which are all recommended for recovery and repair. He splits his meals into six smallish meals a day to make sure that he’s getting enough nutrition throughout the day and to maintain blood sugar and energy levels.

Dwayne Johnson Nutrition Plan

Meal One

  • 10 scrambled egg whites
  • 3 servings of cream of rice or 1 cup of oatmeal
  • 3 rice cakes
  • 24 oz water

Meal Two

  • 6 oz skinless, grilled chicken breast
  • 1 cup grits
  • 6 oz yams
  • 1 cup of steamed asparagus
  • 24 oz water

Meal Three

  • 6 oz tuna, 1 cup brown rice
  • 1 sliced cucumber
  • 24 oz water

Meal Four

  • 6 oz perch fillet
  • 1 cup barley
  • 6 oz baked potato
  • 1 cup steamed green beans
  • 24 oz water

Meal Five

  • 6 oz pork tenderloin
  • 1 cup brown rice
  • 6 oz sweet potato
  • 1 cup peas
  • 24 oz water

Meal Six

  • 10 scrambled egg whites
  • 3 servings of cream of rice or 1 cup oatmeal
  • 24 oz water

    In meal 1, you say Rick Cakes…. is that suppose to be Rice Cakes? if they are rick cakes, what are those?
