Carrie Underwood’s Favorite Pizza

Carrie Underwood has been a vegetarian for some time now, but has to keep her passion for cheese in check.

Whole wheat melty cheese When we think of vegetarians, we automatically think of skinny, anemic beings too weak to even lift a pencil. A lot of vegetarians have poor eating habits and fall into the trap of eating too many carbohydrates and those who eat dairy, load up on too much cheese.

Think of all the pasta you can eat, the pizza. You can do nachos and all sorts of cheesy things.

Eating too much before a concert can zap the energy out of any performer, so Carrie likes to eat for energy and pack in as much protein as she can before a show. She likes meat substitutes and green beans.

Keeping track of your calorie consumption is also a good way of knowing how much you have eaten throughout the day. It’s helps Carrie, particularly when she’s on tour and grabbing a bite to eat can be tricky.

Little things really do add up.

Carrie loves her pizza and is a sucker for cheese. Here is one of her favorite pizza recipes:

  • 1 wholewheat wrap
  • 1/4 lb brie wedge
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 2 Granny Smith or red delicious apples or
  • ¼ cup fruit chutney

Slice the brie and lay it over half the wrap. Drizzle with honey. Roll the wrap up and cook under the grill for four minutes. Garnish with sliced apples or fruit chutney.
